1885 . . . the community. . . organized St Luke Methodist Church on the Saint Mark Circuit. For the sum of $5, Andrew Jackson GILREATH deeded 3/4 acre to Jackson BROWN, Elias FARR, & Henry BROWN, trustees of the church. This land was located on Pine Log Ford Road.
